Are you based in or near Brentwood? Great news! You can join in with the Big Sew Off fun at the Essex hub organised by Beautiful Things HQ!
BTHQ will be welcoming you in to sew on Monday 4th September, making either garments or useful items such as tote bags and zipper pouches. Everything made on the day will be donated to Give Your Best, a Vinted-style website for refugees and asylum seekers to shop on for free. There is a suggested donation of £5 for attending the day. Whatever you choose to pay will be donated to mental health charity Mind as part of the Big Sew Off total fundraising efforts.
Then in the evening Beautiful Things HQ will be organising a ZOOM Live from 7pm and keep it running through the night. Sew from your home, enjoy the chatter and experience a great BTHQ ‘sewcial’!
